Anika Noi Rose, an American singer-actress is best known for her character in the film The Princess and The Frog. Her most well-known role is the role of Tiana Disney's first African-American princess in The Princess and the Frog. In 2011, she was recognized as one of the Disney Legend. Also, she starred as Beneatha Younger, who played the Broadway revival of A Raisin in the Sun (2014) in which she was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Play.
