Summer and Selena

Summer Glau was an American actress best known for playing River Tam in Firefly, the critically-acclaimed TV series. Also, she played Cameron on Terminator. Sarah Connor Chronicles. Also, she has appeared in Angel Cold Case The Big Bang Theory Chuck, Hawaii Five-0 and The 4400. The actress who has acted in films like Serenity and Knights of Badassdom has also made a few TV film and short films like Mammoth The Birth of Sarah Deadly Honeymoon Help to Celebrate the Holidays Dead End and Inside the Box to name some. Glau has been awarded numerous honours and awards till date. Glau was included twice in FHM's 100 Sexiest Women of the World and also appeared listed on the Wizard magazine's Sexiest Women of TV list. Maxim has also included the American as part of their Hot 100. Glau was a finalist in the Best Actress category at the SFX Awards for Serenity. In recognition of her work as a character in Terminator The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Glau was awarded an award called the Saturn Award. Selena Quintanilla......................Selena was born April 16 1971 in Corpus Christi Texas . She was the youngest of three children born to Marcela and Abraham Quintanilla. When Selena aged eighteen, she began an active career with a group formed by her father. The older brothers of Selena's Abraham junior and Abraham junior, who played the base guitar, and Sister Suzette on drums were in the group. Selena also sang. Selena Y Los Dino band played at numerous wedding fairs, bars, dining establishments with her elder brothers and sisters. Selena along with her sisters as well as their parents were very involved in the group. They did not have a childhood. Yet Abraham inspired them to be determined musicians because of his passion. Abraham senior also played with his band, the Los Dinos original band. Selena Y Los Dinos formed officially in 1981. It was the band's main business, and the primary source of income for the family. Quintanilla persevered, despite having little money in their beginning. They worked toward becoming a winning family group. Selena Y Los Dinos achieved recognition throughout the West states by the end of the 1980s. In 1986, the group got their first taste success when Selena was awarded Female Vocalist of the Year and Best Performer during the Tejano music awards. From that point on Selena Y Los Dinos were one of the most successful winners each year and earned notoriety and fame. They were featured on a variety of Spanish TV shows of the Spanish language such as El Show De Johnny Canales Siempre En Domingo and Sabado Gigante.
